Chuck Norris has his say

Chuck Norris

Yes, Chuck Norris – the one who is the subject of many memes and internet 'facts' (all of which are jokes, because he is not invincible even if he happens to be awesome) is a born again Christian.

If you are from the generation that doesn't know who Chuck Norris is – he's a star of numerous movies where he's featured as a tough guy and kick- started his career as a martial artist who began in the Air Force.

The action movie star has been in Way of the Dragon (with Bruce Lee), An Eye for an Eye, Firewalker and was the star of Walker, Texas Ranger.

Recently he wrote about all the 'facts' that circulated the internet about him (for probably about the last fifteen years) because he's such a martial arts legend.

Here is what he said:

? Alleged Chuck Norris Fact: "There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of creatures Chuck Norris has allowed to live."

? Its funny. It's cute. But here's what I really think about the theory of evolution: It's not real. It is not the way we got here. In fact, the life you see on this planet is really just a list of creatures God has allowed to live.

? We are not creations of random chance. We are not accidents. There is a God, a Creator, who made you and me. We were made in His image, which separates us from all other creatures.

? By the way, without him, I don't have any power. But with Him, the Bible tells me, I really can do all things – and so can you.

No, you don't have to become a born again Christian because Chuck Norris is (and Mr T and some other former Hollywood tough guys). But Chuck Norris is awesome and Chuck Norris realises how awesome Jesus is – and for a man that is rumoured to be invincible, it's worth checking out.
