Dealing with anger

Do you feel guilty for getting angry? Many people feel that it is wrong to be angry, but that is not necessarily the case. If you reflect on Jesus and what the Bible teaches us you may be surprised to find that anger is a natural human response. In fact to deny anger is not healthy. Jesus was angry on several occasions and He let other people know it.

The key is what we do when we are angry. Another Bible passage says that in our anger we are not to sin. Don't allow your anger to cause you to do stupid and rash things that result in you hurting others and/or yourself.

The Bible also says that we should not let the sun go down on our anger. In other words, deal with it. Talk to the people who have hurt you, or you have hurt, and get the issues out in the open.

God created you and knows your heart, so don't feel guilty about anger. Just be sure you deal with it helpfully.
