Rapist made right with God

Koos Moloi
Koos Moloi says without God he can’t do anything worthwhile.

Koos Moloi is serving 20 years in prison for rape but admits that sexual immorality was just one of his problems before he gave his life to Jesus.

"I was also an alcoholic, full of pride and unforgiving towards others," he admits.

Early on in his prison stay, Koos started reading the Bible and began attending the church services on a Sunday.

There he learnt about the Creator God who loves us and wants to be in relationship with us, but who is also righteous and just, and cannot leave sin unpunished. Koos learnt that Jesus, God's Son, came to earth, lived a perfect life and died in our place, to take away our sin. By believing in Jesus and accepting His sacrifice for us, we can become children of God and be filled with His Spirit, who will help us to live godly lives.

Koos realised, "Without God I can do nothing good or worthwhile."

"So, I received Jesus as my Lord and Saviour and gave my life to Him. Now God has changed me from the angry, unforgiving man I was. I am even leading Bible studies in prison!" Koos concludes.
